Volunteer at HISD

At Kate Bell Elementary, we believe that strong schools are built through strong partnerships with families and the community. When parents get involved, students thrive and we couldn’t do it without your support!

One of the most impactful ways to help is by becoming a registered HISD VIPS (Volunteers in Public Schools). This quick process ensures you’re eligible to chaperone field trips, assist during school events, and lend a hand whenever we need extra support.

Step 1: Visit www.houstonisd.org/VIPS to complete your VIPS registration.
Step 2: Bring your ID to the front office for approval.
Step 3: You’re ready to help make a difference at Kate Bell!
